My name is Joseph Prickett, I am thirteen years old am an incoming 8th grader at Hastings Middle School in Hastings, Nebraska.

In the summer of 2008, I traveled to my grandparent’s house in Las Cruces, New Mexico, for three and a half weeks. During this time with my grandparents, I had assumed that I would be relaxing at their house, going to a basketball camp, and touring southern New Mexico. But on the first weekend, my Uncle, Dennis Prickett, would be running a campaign kickoff for Free Wheelchair Mission.

He influenced me to start my own campaign, and I held my campaign kick-off event on July 6, 2008, at St. Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral, where I raised $3,042.75.

The total goal for my campaign is to raise $282,095, enough money for 10 containers(5,500 chairs). I also have a team, called Nebraska Youth for Locomotion, with members all across the state of Nebraska.
One-hundred million people in third world countries do remain on the ground. This is what FWM is changing.
